Best Vanes hands down!

Like I said best vanes hands down. Stiff, quiet, and excellent memory.

I’ve used them for TAC and hunting. You’re not wasting your money.

Missed the Mark

I've been shooting AAE vanes for quite some time, so I was really excited to find out about these new vanes. In my mind, they were a quieter and more rigid version of the Max Stealths - which may go down as one of the greatest hunting vanes ever produced IMO. First and foremost - these vanes do fly great. However so far, I have been disappointed. I have adhesion issues with these vanes, they take much much longer to form a bond and I would say about 60% of the ones I fletch need to be "touched up" as they are loose in some spots. AAE employee told me that they got poor results in testing adhesion with the glue I use (gorilla blue cap) but have used this flue on Max Hunters, Max Stealths, and Hybrids without a single issue ever.

As mentioned by a couple other reviews, these vanes do not hold up well. One shot where the vanes remain in the target and that vane is permanently rippled. While this really doesn't affect arrow flight if it happens to one vane, let's be honest - we want our arrows to look good.

Overall, I will continue to use these until I am out of them (because they are too expensive not to, and they truly do fly really well) and then I will go back to the tried and true Max Stealth.

As stated in most all of our vane descriptions we recommend the use of our Max Bond glue for the best adhesion results and not glues that are not intended for use in our industry such as the one you've described.

In regards to the durability of the AIRAZR vane, the product description as well as all media around the AIRAZR material stated from the date of release that due to the material having NO MEMORY it would not survive target pass throughs or group shooting as well as our other two materials.

The AIRAZR line of vanes were developed to address the desire for a stiffer, lighter vane that is inherently quieter due to these attributes. But in the presences of these characteristics there are also some trade-offs.

Came in heavier then advertised

Mine all way in at 8 grains out of 2 packs and a few over 8. Think I’ll stick to the hybrid. There not the 7 grains as advertised but I’ll use them up.

We actually put out a statement referencing this on our Social Media channels a few weeks ago. The initial production run was coming in .5-1gr heavier than initially advertised. All product weights for the AIRAZR vanes have been updated on the product pages.
