Always wanting to try something different for whatever reason but I always end up going back to the AAE MAX Hunter Vanes. This year I decided to stray away yet again to try the AAE Airazr's on my hunting arrows. They worked great, they were as quiet, they could steer a fixed blade on a .166 shaft very well HOWEVER they were super stiff in the cold weather. They reminded me of TAC vanes when I tried those in the past. If you had a pass though on a 3D target they are trashed. If they touch another arrow on the target in cold weather they would cut the other one like a razor blade. If they deformed in any way they would never get their shape back. The AAE MAX Hunter is hands down the best performing hunting fletching I have ever used. Flexible in extreme temps, bonds well, steers nice with fix blades, quiet and very difficult to deform or defect from an occasional pass thru or shaft slammin'. AAE MAX Hunters on some Victory VAP TKO's and MAX Stealth's on some 23's are my go to's yet I always check to see if the grass is greener for some reason 🤷🏼♂️
