I am returning this rest for the following reasons:
1. The box for the rest was placed into a federal express shipping envelope. Therefore the box came crushed with parts scattered all about the envelope, and I’m not sure if any were lost.
2. The rest was supposed to be full containment as I was told by one of your technicians and it is not.
3. I was told by one of your technicians the rest would not interfere with the Mathews Low Pro quiver that I use. In reality, the rest interferes with the first three arrow positions.
4. I was told by one of your technicians that the rest would arrive to be installed with top limb activation, which it is not.
5. The limb sandwich that I purchased because I was told to, actually had a match inside of the mess with the other parts. Why was I told to buy another one if a limb sandwich came with the rest itself?
6. The limb sandwich, if installed near the limb tip as instructed, actually touches the cam making it completely unusable.
7. The rest itself cannot be secured to a Lift X riser because the set screw lines up with a cut out in the riser, making it completely useless.
All in all your Technical Support staff needs to learn what the hell they are talking about when it comes to selling rests, especially for Mathews bows. What they told me could not be further from the truth.
Please return my money immediately, and make damn sure management gets a copy of this email so they can correct their internal issues as far as personnel and product knowledge is concerned.
Flawless rest!!! The adjustability of this rest is incredible!! Easy to tune!!
I have another highly regarded rest but keep coming back to my AAE Pro Drop because of the arrow holder. I need the confidence that holder gives me. The other rest Allows the arrow to flop all over the place inside the cage and yes the launcher does eventually pick up the arrow but that slop in holding the arrow just distracts me every time I draw my bow and in a hunting scenario I just can't deal with that.
Thank you AAE for a great stabile solution to holding that arrow on a limb driven rest.
